Overview

The Project Manager for CSC Transition Services will plan, execute, and finalize project according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team member and third-party contractor or consultant in order to deliver project according to plan. The Project Manager will also design the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Responsibilities

  •  Directs and manages project development from beginning to end
  • Defines project scope, goals, and deliverable that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Develops full-scale project plans and associate communication documents
  • Communicates project expectation to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clean fashion
  • Manages team(s) toward on-time, under-budget project delivery
  • Identifies, assesses, manages, and resolves issues and mitigate risks
  • Liaises with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
  • Drafts and submits budget proposals and recommends subsequent budget changes where necessary
  • Sets and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
  • Delegates tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
  • Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path
  • Plans and schedules project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Tracks project milestones and deliverables
  • Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
  • Manages changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
  • Builds, develops, and grows any business relationships vital to the success of the project
  • Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
  • Collaborates with cross-functional resources yet can operate with the appropriate level of independence
  • Creates and maintains a detailed project plans, issues log, risk register, status reports, and other required documentation
  • Provides mentoring for more Junior Team Members

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of progressive project/program management
  • Experience managing programs/project within large, complex environments
  • Experience creating and maintaining project plans, issue logs, risk register, and status reports
  • Strong technical aptitude, organization, analytical, and project management skills
  • Experience work with Executive level management
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills that are audience appropriate with appropriate style and delivery to influence audience 

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • PMI and/or ITIL certification

Pay Range

$80,000 - $115,000

Base pay ranges are estimated. Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set,  and any other relevant factors. Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to base pay.
