Overview

Summary

This position requires an organized, detail-oriented individual to work on a variety of contract and compliance matters, including reviewing contracts, updating applicable systems, compiling data, and collaborating with members of other departments to address contract and corporate compliance related matters.  Although this role will initially focus on compliance reviews related to Public Sector customer accounts, the individual may also work on a variety of other legal and non-legal matters, as requested by the Legal team from time to time.  Knowledge of the C1 processes, systems, and procedures will be critical to success in this position.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Reviews agreements with customers to identify compliance requirements, including Public Sector contract vehicles, master agreements, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Statements of Work (SOWs) and other related documents
  • Performs administrative and clerical tasks, including, but not limited to, updating applicable company systems and/or logs to ensure such compliance requirements are accurately reflected and communicated across the organization
  • Collaborates with internal legal and business personnel to obtain any additional information and/or supporting documentation required in connection with such document review and compliance activities
  • Compiles and presenst key findings by leveraging data analysis skills in Excel or Smartsheet and produce professional presentations in PowerPoint
  • Provides support to other Legal department members on work assignments as needed
  • Handles a wide variety of confidential and time sensitive matters and must be able to keep matters confidential
  • Prepares various email communications and other correspondence related to such administrative duties
  • Maintains a knowledge of current C1 policies, procedures, and organizational structure applicable to such compliance activities
  • Prioritizes tasks to meet expectations

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 4 years degree
  • 3 or more years’ experience evaluating and reviewing contracts with one or more companies based in the United States of America
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including fluency in the English language (verbal/written)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as telecommunications systems such as Microsoft Teams, and similar software and/or systems
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, but also able to collaborate in a professional and productive manner with a diverse and geographically dispersed group of colleagues, customers, and other third parties

 

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous business experience in a high-tech software and/or hardware sales environment preferred.
  • Previous experience working with Public Sector customers and/or contract vehicles preferred.
