Summary:

The Competitive Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing competitive activity within our industry.  The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of market dynamics, competitor strategies, and emerging industry trends as well as being able to analyze win/loss data to discern trends and identify strengths as well as gaps versus the competition.  They will play a pivotal role in providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations to enhance our competitive advantage and drive informed decision-making across the organization

Essential Functions:

• Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of market trends, competitor performance, and industry developments to identify key opportunities and threats.
• Monitor and track competitor activities, including product launches, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives, to assess their impact on our market position.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather internal data and insights, integrating them with external competitive intelligence to provide a holistic view of the market landscape.
• Develop and maintain competitive intelligence reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain quarterly win/loss data and report on win/loss trends, identifying both strengths and gaps versus the competition.
• Proactively identify potential risks and challenges in the competitive landscape and formulate strategies to mitigate these risks and maintain our competitive edge.
• Participate in strategic planning sessions, contributing valuable insights and recommendations based on competitive intelligence analysis.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure that our company remains at the forefront of innovation and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of market research and CI experience in a relevant industry - national scale, relevant go-to-market strategy experience, Bachelor’s Degree required
• In depth knowledge of the market, market trends, strong understanding of relevant solution as well as industry capabilities and business outcomes from those capabilities
• Ability to work in a fast paced, with complex cross-functional solutions and processes with multiple stakeholders
